Short-drama downloader FAQ
Answers about supported links, failed pages, formats, and access limits.
Which MoboReels links can I paste?
Any series page under /drama/ on www.moboreels.com that opens without signing in. The catalog comes from the same episode API the player uses, so the whole episode list and its free/locked flags resolve in one pass.
Why do some MoboReels episodes show as locked?
MoboReels marks the paywall per episode. Only episodes the payload reports as free and unlocked can be selected; the rest stay in the grid, labelled and disabled, so the episode count matches the source page.
What file do I get from a MoboReels episode?
Public MoboReels episodes are served as H.264 MP4, so they are saved as-is — same resolution and bitrate. If an episode only exposes an HLS playlist, it is assembled into a single MP4 in your browser without re-encoding.
Do MoboReels download links expire?
Yes. The media address is signed and valid for roughly an hour. The workspace fetches a fresh one each time a download starts, so a queued episode does not go stale between resolving and saving.
